A Divine Calling to Serve
In 2018, Bob received a powerful dream that changed the course of his life. In that vision, he saw countless children being brought to his multi-room home, each one in need of love, support, and opportunity. The roads were filled with people delivering children to his doorstep, then silently walking away. The dream culminated in a thunderous voice, believed to be God's declaration:
“All those are my children. I have given them all to you to help in order for them to grow.”
Bob woke up with clarity and conviction, God had called him to be a caretaker for vulnerable children around the world. That dream became the spiritual foundation of Village Hope International, a movement to restore dignity, hope, and opportunity to every child in need.
From Humble Beginnings to Global Impact
Raised in rural Uganda, Bob’s early life was marked by hardship. His family struggled to afford school fees, basic supplies, or access proper classrooms. He still remembers learning beneath a cashew nut tree, his first "classroom," exposed to weather and disruption. Rain meant no school, no learning, and no progress.
Healthcare was equally inaccessible. Bob endured common illnesses without medical treatment, relying solely on traditional herbs his mother prepared. Painful days at home, missed school, and the lingering impact of untreated sickness became part of his childhood story.
These experiences laid bare the harsh realities faced by millions of children in underserved communities. Bob vowed no child should endure what he did and that promise lives on through Village Hope International’s education and healthcare programs.
A Public Health Advocate with a Purpose
With a professional background in environmental science and public health, Bob channels his expertise into every initiative of Village Hope International. His commitment to improving lives through clean water, proper sanitation, nutrition, and preventive care is more than a career — it’s a mission.
Bob believes public health is a moral responsibility. For him, ensuring that children not only survive but thrive through better education, nutrition, and healthcare is both science and service, passion and purpose.
